May 5 National Day of Prayer at Shoreline Community College. People from churches in our city, came together to pray for our country, our government leaders, our uniformed personnel, our community, and our church. We worshiped our Lord, We said the pledge of allegiance, We sang the Star Spangled Banner. We prayed repentance for our sins, healing for the people, healing for the land, to restore the foundations of our country for the students, the refuges and immigrants and for the unity of the Church.

Although there are many individual churches in Shoreline and Lake Forest Park , this website represents one means whereby the local Christian community might come to represent more accurately the ONE CHURCH in Shoreline / LFP under the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Scriptural basis for this:
I am in them and you are in me. May they experience such perfect unity that the world will know that you sent me and that you love them as much as you love me. John 17:23 New Living Translation

Therefore I, a prisoner for serving the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of your calling, for you have been called by God. 2 Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for eachother’s faults because of your love. 3 Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. 4 For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. 5 There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all,who is over all, in all, and living through all. Ephesians 4:1-6
New Living Translation

The basis of our unity is agreement with Apostle’s Creed basic statement of faith. We are united in our commitment to serve the people of Shoreline for their well being and for the glory of God.
